Following the renovation of this beautiful property a new garden was created, arranged on three levels. Leading out from the house is a limestone patio built around a much-loved existing Acer tree. A new hardwood deck wraps around the other side of the property with timber steps leading down to an informal gravel area which offers extra entertaining space complete with a water feature and hidden vegetable beds. The large wraparound lawn has deep planting borders to cater to the homeowner’s love of plants. Careful attention was paid to the homeowner’s love of trees too. There are three new Silver Birch trees chosen for their dramatic white stems at the lower level and a long stand of Mimosa trees whose yellow blossom is a joy in Spring. Various existing fruit trees were retained as part of the brief.
